A maniac named Art the Clown terrorizes two friends and anyone who gets in his way on Halloween. David Howard Thornton was the sixth person to audition for Art the Clown after Mike Giannelli withdrew from the role and acting altogether. During his audition, he pretended to taste the blood of his own severed head, but then added salt to it to make it taste better.

In the shots where Tara is gagged with duct tape, in some of the earlier shots, the tape is clearly not touching the lower half of her mouth, while in other shots it’s tight around both of her lips. EMT Novel: How can you eat a greasy croissant while cutting up a dead body? Once you see an eight-month-old baby boy microwaved to death…anything else is just old age.

The acting is okay

Yes, there is almost no plot, it is very nihilistic and gratuitous, but it makes up for it with a truly terrifying villain and some very well-executed and incredibly brutal gore effects. Nothing amazing, but it is completely acceptable. Much better than you usually see in today’s low-budget horror films.

It’s not a genre-changing film, but it is a fun throwback to the good old days when unstoppable silent killers terrorized people for whatever reason. Clown Art, Pennywise, and Killer Klown are just a few of the comical creatures that send shivers down our spines.
