The Time Warp Service offers Deadpool a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. Hugh Jackman said that he was definitely done playing the character of Wolverine after Logan (2017). He then regretted that statement after a screening of the first Deadpool movie and expressed to Ryan his interest in seeing the two characters meet on the big screen. When asked why he chose to return to this film, he simply said, “I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut,” adding that he wanted to have the best time on set with Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds had also wanted to work with Jackman since the first Deadpool movie and was saddened when he (Jackman) walked away from the role.

This movie was painful to watch at times. Even though Deadpool is known for his coarse language, this movie was over the top.
With all the laughs in the previous movies and trailers, this movie came out with almost an empty tank of gas. The plot was just bad and didn’t really help the Deadpool franchise. Most of the humor was the same formula. After a while, it seemed like the funny comedian was telling the same joke, but in a different style. There were some fun scenes, but for the first time in a Deadpool movie, there were a lot of parts where I just lost interest and looked at the clock.
They probably should have taken the revenue from the first two Deadpool movies and left it. into it… Not worth a movie ticket, but pretty good when it goes digital.
