When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and that he was going to audition people similar to Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been brought on, sparking interest from other notable actors.

I love how each character embraces their imperfections and shows vulnerability and uses humor to make spiritual growth. Shrinking has a ton of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, slightly funny cute moments, and laugh-out-loud moments. I hope they continue to make more seasons of this because the character development warrants it. No.
I think the overuse of profanity takes away from the overall power potential here. It’s almost like the writers are forcibly making the show edgy. Personally, I don’t think it needed it. That’s why I gave it an 8.
